The exhibition Nature, Objects, Interiors brings together works by several artists closely or distantly related to the theme of still life. It echoes the work of Isabelle Guimond. This exhibition will allow visitors to see previously unseen works by Jean-Paul Jérôme and Denis Juneau and works from the gallery’s inventory by Yves Gaucher, Betty Goodwin, Éliane Excoffier and Alexis Lavoie, as well as a very old work by Jean Paul Riopelle, a still life from 1942, created when he was only 18 years old, which was last exhibited at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts 30 years ago. The exhibition runs from March 1, 2023 to April 15, 2023.
