Conference as part of the exhibition Jean-Paul Jérôme: The Timeless Plasticien

As part of the exhibition Jean-Paul Jérôme : The Timeless Plasticien, the Maison de la Culture Claude-Léveillée is offering the public a special opportunity to learn more about this magnificent exhibition.

The documentary film Jean-Paul Jérôme: Colour, Light, Form (52-minute ARTV version) will be presented. Included in the Official Selection of the Festival International du Film sur l’Art (FIFA 36), this film tells the inspiring story of the artist’s journey, accompanied by testimonials from those close to him.

This will be followed by a discussion with 2 guests:

Robert Jérôme, the artist’s nephew and right holder, will talk about the special moments he spent with the artist, both in the studio and in his family life.

René Viau, art critic and author, will cover the historical aspect and the positioning of Jérôme and Les Plasticiens in Canadian art history.
